The Texas distillery's special release joins its lineup of American single malt whiskeys.
Balcones Distilling has announced news of its latest American single malt whisky, the Balcones Pilgrimage.
The new expression joins Balcones Distilling’s single malt portfolio, which already includes Balcones Lineage, Balcones No. 1 Texas Single Malt and Balcones Mirador among many others.
Pilgrimage is a tribute to both the journeys of exploration consumers are on, and also the travelling companions that come along for the ride. Each Pilgrimage release will showcase different results in that exploration, and none will be the same. The first iteration of Pilgrimage is crafted with Golden Promise malted barley aged in used casks and finished in Sauternes dessert wine barrels.
