After nearly doubling their distribution footprint in recent years, Bardstown Bourbon and Green River is continuing with its coast-to-coast expansion in 2025 with the addition of New Jersey and Washington.
In New Jersey, the brands will be distributed by the newly minted Garden State Premier Wholesalers and across the country, the brands will be represented by Columbia Distributing in Washington state, an important west coast market for the brands.
“Bardstown exemplifies the supplier that aligns perfectly with our company culture and ambitions, plus they’re genuinely invested in working together to achieve success,” said Chris Steffanci, Columbia president and CEO. “And the liquid? It’s exceptional! Incredible quality at an equally incredible price point. The response from accounts has been phenomenal so far — they all want it.”
In the first half of 2025, the brands will launch in Kansas with LDF Companies and will expand on an existing footprint with RNDC, entering Iowa, Oregon and Montana.
Bardstown Bourbon and Green River are nearing national distribution and will be available in 45 states by the end of 2025.
“At Bardstown Bourbon Co we are never standing still. We’re investing in our people, our products and our partners and we are excited to enter these important states as we look to reach full national distribution in the years ahead,” said Scott Blazek, chief commercial officer. “We have found great partners here in Garden State Premier Wholesalers, Columbia Distributing and LDF, along with an expanded partnership with RNDC, that align with our organizational values and a shared commitment to our customers.”
Since 2016, Bardstown Bourbon Co. has grown from a 600,000 gallon per year distillery to one of the largest in the country, capable of distilling more than 18 million gallons per year. Bardstown Bourbon Co. has established itself through not only custom distillation but also unprecedented collaboration with a number of spirits brands, including Green River Distilling Co., which Bardstown purchased in 2022 and has since grown into one of the fastest growing brands in American whiskey.
