Independent blender and bottler, Barrell Craft Spirits has launched its latest Bourbon release in its line of straight Bourbon whiskeys which have been matured for a minimum of 15 years.

The BCS Bourbon was distilled in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, before being crafted and bottled at 104.9 proof in Kentucky.

Barrell Craft Spirits was founded in 2013 in Louisville, KY, created with the aim of selecting and blending products that explore different distillation methods, barrel and aging environments, and bottling at cask strength. Each batch created is produced as a limited-release bottling.

This year’s release offers heady minerals, tart fruits, woody spice and rich nutty notes. All in all it offers a creamy, tropical experience, with notes that aren’t often found in a Bourbon of this age.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the third release of Bourbon within the Barrell Craft Spirits Line,” says founder Joe Beatrice. “For this annual release, we identified and blended some exceptional barrels to taste that are defined by absolute balance and deep flavor layering.”

Barrell Craft Spirits has made 12,000 (750ml) bottles of BCS Bourbon available at select retailers within the brand’s current 45 US markets, and online via the BCS website at www.barrellbourbon.com for the suggested retail price of $250.00.
