Bulleit Frontier Whiskey is returning this year as the official spirit to celebrate the 2021 Film Independent Spirit Awards (FISA) with. The Kentucky-based whiskey brand has partnered up with Best Supporting Male Actor nominee, Colman Domingo in order to raise a glass to this year’s nominees that are pushing boundaries in film.

In order to help at-home viewers get into the spirit, Bulleit have provided the ‘official cocktail’, fittingly named Drop the Mic.
The Drop the Mic cocktail is the first official drink of FISA, embodying the character of the awards while also incorporating imaginative flavors and innovative process.
The official cocktail contains orange and cacao shrubs, an old technique used to bring the delicious flavor of Bulleit Bourbon to the forefront of your palette. Combined with Oloroso Sherry and mole bitters, the drink takes on a gritty but fruit forward flavor profile. Inspired by the Film Independent Spirits Awards trophy in appearance, the cocktail has a dark and elegant shade and is served in a rocks glass.
Bulleit is gearing up to honor some of this year’s hottest films with one-of-a-kind neon bottles created by Bulleit partner and Neon Queen, Lisa Schulte. Guests of this year’s first ever virtual Film Independent Spirit Awards, will also get to experience an immersive Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Bar during a pre-show cocktail hour.
