This week's Cocktail of the Week is another for those looking for something refreshing and cooling in this warm summer heat. The Frozen Texas Tea is crafted by Maverick Distilling, and features their Samuel Maverick Straight Bourbon. This is easy to craft at home, and can also be ordered at the distillery tasting room bar located in downtown San Antonio.
Ingredients
• Samuel Maverick Straight Bourbon Whiskey
• Black tea
• Pure Cane Sugar
- Samuel Maverick Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Maverick Distilling
- Black Tea (made in-house when you order this drink at the bar)
- Pure Cane Sugar
Method
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until fully blended. Pour into a stemmed cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon slice and mint. Enjoy!
