It’s the first of December, so what better way to wonder where on earth the year went than with a delicious winter cocktail!
We’re kicking off the festivities with the team at Balcones and the Sneaky Wassail cocktail – leave one of these out for Santa and you’ll certainly be on the Nice List, it is Christmas in a glass.

Sneaky Wassail
Glassware: Mug
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon
1 gallon unfiltered apple cider
10 dashes Angostura bitters
4 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp of Allspice
3 cups fresh cranberries
Garnish: Freshly grated nutmeg
To make:
Add cranberries, cinnamon, allspice, cider and bitters into a large pot and simmer for 1-1.5 hours. Add the bourbon into a warm mug and top with cider mix and garnish.
