Crafted 4,000ft above sea level at the High West Distillery in Wanship, UT, the 100-proof expression was aged four years and five months in a federally bonded warehouse, meeting the strict standards set by the historic Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897—America’s first consumer protection law.

High West’s distilling director and leader of the Bottled in Bond program, Isaac Winter, commented: “Experience a high-rye bourbon crafted for bold flavor, featuring a mash bill of 36 per cent rye and 64 per cent non-GMO yellow corn. Tasting notes supplied by High West say this expression has notes of Honeycrisp apple and wildflower honey on the nose, followed by gingersnaps, molasses, and puffed wheat cereal on the palate.

High West Bottled in Bond Bourbon (SRP $79.99) is available nationwide at select retailers and will begin shipping to 35 states via High West’s online store from August 1. Building on the success of last year’s launch, the distillery will offer Bottled in Bond Rye nationally through its website also beginning August 1.
