Milam & Greene Port Rye Blackberry Bramble
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz of Milam & Greene Port Cask finished Rye
- 6 or 7 ripe blackberries
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz ginger beer or sparkling water
- 1 cup of ice (preferably pebble)
- Sprig of mint
METHOD
Muddle at least 5 blackberries and simple syrup gently in your serving glass, pour in rye whiskey and add half a cup of ice and stir for 20 seconds until some ice has melted
- Add additional blackberries and ice, top with ginger beer or sparkling water for a less sweet preference and garnish with mint
Milam & Greene Triple Cask Elderflower Sour
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz Milam & Greene Triple Cask Bourbon
- 1 oz of elderflower syrup
- .5 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 2 oz of sparkling water
- Lemon wheel
METHOD
Combine bourbon, syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker tin with ice and shake for at least 30 seconds
- Pour liquid over fresh ice in serving glass and top with sparkling water
- Garnish with lemon wheel and enjoy!
Milam & Greene Triple Cask Ginger Peach Smash
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz Milam & Greene Triple Cask Bourbon
- 2 sprigs of mint (one for garnish)
- 3 small peach slices peeled –1 peach slice unpeeled (garnish)
- 5 oz lemon juice
- .75 oz ginger simple syrup
METHOD
Mash mint and peeled peach slices with ginger simple syrup and lemon juice in a shaker
- Add ice and bourbon
- Shake for 10 seconds and strain into serving glass with fresh ice
- Add garnish and enjoy
