Talnua Distillery is combining Colorado’s love of the outdoors with its ever-growing love of whiskey. The two will meet in what is being described as an enchanting, purpose-driven evening under the Colorado sky.
Whiskey in the Wild will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1:00-10:00pm at Talnua Distillery, with the desire to create a blend of adventure, camaraderie, and philanthropy.
The philanthropy mentioned above is the distillery’s initiative called The Acorn Project, in which Talnua aims to plant the seeds of change, cultivating a greener, more resilient planet for future generations.
As part of that project, Whiskey in the Wild centers around the release of Talnua’s Cask Strength Single Barrel Whiskey. The new expression is triple distilled from a mashbill of malted and unmalted barley, aged for three years and 10 months in new American oak, and finished in a single Weller Bourbon barrel.
The limited release consists of approximately 200 bottles, at 114 proof (57%ABV) and retails at $110 – a portion of each sale will benefit Colorado Parks and Wildlife, in the hopes of furthering Talnua’s aim to raise $10,000 for conservation efforts.
