The bottling is created from a combined batching of more than 100 different Woodford Reserve barrels, drawn from various dates of production and multiple floors in different warehouses.
The result showcases a range of flavors, bottled at batch strength of 121.2 proof.
Speaking on the Batch Proof, master distiller Elizabeth McCall said: “Barrels drawn from the upper floors of our heat-cycled warehouses tend to possess higher proof presentations including this limited-edition batch.
“Batch Proof allows consumers to taste Woodford Reserve exactly as it comes out of the barrels.”
Tasting notes supplied by the producer highlight flavours of vanilla bean, citrus fruits, cinnamon, dried strawberry, toasted oak, and cocoa.
Woodford Reserve Batch Proof was released earlier this month to select US and global markets.
