The team at Woodford Reserve have released their annual limited-edition Batch Proof Series expression, bottled at 123.6 proof, as part of the Master’s Collection.

The collection celebrates the combined commitment of master distiller, Chris Morris and the brand as a whole to the craftsmanship of modern-day Bourbon and the American whiskey category in general.

As a celebration of Woodford’s batching process, which involves blending barrels into a batch in order to bottle the whiskey at its actual proof from the barrel, which is crafted using both the same mash bill and process as the Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The expression holds the trademark brand flavors of sweet vanilla and toasted oak at its purest form but with a higher proof.



“Most people do not get to experience Woodford Reserve at such a high proof presentation, so we are honored to share this special Bourbon with the public,” said Chris Morris. “The intensity and depth of flavor found in Woodford Reserve Batch proof is truly remarkable.”

The 2020 edition is available in select US and global markets, with a suggested retail price $129.99 for a 750ml bottle.
